the weaker sex

I suppose all those who fought for gender equality would despise my saying this but-I will anyway. I really do hate feminism. Or gender equality, what ever you will call it. I would have no problem giving up my right to vote, become a doctor, president or whatnot. In fact, can't we just go back to wearing dresses and drinking tea; leaving the burdens to the males in our lives?

I think that would be quite desirable.

Just arrived at Smith Moutain Lake...I though I hated nature (I have poison something or other again) but then I see lake and I feel like Pocahontas.

I just watched a Veggie Tales movie with Aidan and Briant about Joseph and the Coat of Many colors--it is definitely my new favorite Bible story.

Sorry if this post bores anyone--my cousin is watching me type this :)

?

spontaneity (n.): 1. my mind's arch enemy. 2. a frequent occurrence in my life

also, I think I'm going crazy. I was so sure that I put my paycheck in my purse,  when  actually, I threw it in the rubbish bin. And in K-Mart I swore I heard someone fiercely whisper "Krista!" in my ear.

when traveling abroad one starts to appreciate their own country more each minute that they are in a foreign land.  it's true, you know.

here's what I learned in paris:

1) Almost everybody speaks English. I don't know why they'd want to, because French is so much prettier. So the language barrier was non-existent. (But God forbid I pronounce something incorrectly in their language)

2) Metros give you the strangest desire for a bath.

3) people there don't appreciate the churches from 1066 that they walk past on their way to work every day.

4) france turns out some amazing artists

5) I wish I were still there
